Oh my god! What a great movie. Honestly, if you are having a crappy day and need a definite pick-me-up movie, you have to go see Hairspray. Quite a few laugh-out-loud bits. Great singing, great dancing, great performances, great message and an all around FUN movie with an ending that leaves you with a great positive feeling.
Queen Latifah, as always, is dazzling. Nikki Blonsky, who was introduced in this movie, is great; the girl can really sing and dance. The combination of Amanda Bynes and Allison Janney was hysterical. I was even able to get past stupid John Travolta and enjoy his performance!
