Do you hear that? The loverly sound of waves...

I'm heading to Sarasota. I think it was some kind of divine intervention...

I have had just about the worst day today (last couple of days, actually) at the office, and I was just about at my wit's end this morning. I was ready to walk out the door and say "Bugger all!"

The Co-worker got an email today with some cheap air rates, and they had a deal out of Lansing to St. Pete for $120. I found a hotel right across the street from St. Armand's for $150 and a car rental for $100.

I know it's only 3 days, and that I'm heading to WDW 2 weeks later, but I think this is something that I am really need.

Now, I hope the Boss doesn't mind...

So, not two hours ago, as I was telling the story of our trip to the Publisher's Row fair in June, one of my comrades here at the seminar said something to the effect of 'wow, you take a lot of trips.' Having read your most recent entry, I just have to say with the world listening -- I got nothing on you, Florida-boy. Sheesh. ;)

So says the girl, writing from Ireland! :P

If you knew the kind of week I've had, you'd understand why I was running off. If I could go sooner/stay longer, I would be.
