Cyndi Lauper was great!

I went to see the True Colors Tour last night in Detroit and had a blast! All the acts were great (there were performances from The White Tie Affair, The Cliks, Tegan and Sara, The B-52s and Rosie O'Donnell did a stand-up bit) but the highlight for me was Cyndi Lauper. The girl knows how to put on a show!! She did a couple of songs from her new album ("Rocking Chair," "Give It Up," "Into the Nightlife," and "Same Ol' Story") and then some of her older songs ("Money Changes Everything," "I Drove All Night," "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" (Rosie played the drums for this one), "Time After Time" (this was amazing) and some others that I can't think of right now) and then everyone who performed in the show came out and sang Sly & the Family Stone's "Everyday People" and then they performed "True Colors," which was amazing, too. Everyone there was having a great time. It was just like one great big party. Nothing like getting a big group of gays together for a good time!
