We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be. ~May Sarton

14 III 2014

I can taste Spring in the air. I'm ready to be outside, to be grilling, to be reading outside in the evening light, to be playing with Sky in the morning before work, to open the house and let in the fresh air. This time of year is always filled with so much potential and hope. I'm ready for the weather to turn. Slowly, but surely, it is, and the anticipation is almost more than I can bare. I need the sun, cool breezes on a warm afternoon, flowers, birds singing. It's a balm for the soul that is sorely needed now.
