It's tough but it does get easier. I lost one of my siberians 2 yrs ago on July 8 and even now can't look at a photo of her without getting sad and tearful pretty quickly. Now her companion/nemesis, our male husky is really old (15) and debilitated and it's just a matter of time. Maybe in a few months you will be ready to love again and can bring another dog into your life.
