It has continued to snow off and on all weekend. We have well more than a foot of snow right now, and more where it has drifted and where it has been plowed. I don't remember having this much snow before the holidays in a long time now. On top of the snow, we have had some bitter, bitter cold (it was 5 last night when I left my mother's house at 7pm) and right now it is 17. And snowing.
It sounds like it is going to get worse before it gets better over the next couple of days. Christmas Eve is supposed to bring freezing rain, sleet and more snow. However, it looks by the weekend we should be getting a little reprieve with temperatures in the upper 30s/lower 40s, so hopefully some of the snow will melt.
