Idina Menzel

B and I went to see Idina Menzel last night at Wharton Center. Amazing! She sang selections from her album, a couple of songs by other artists, and then she sang the finale from Rent and then a snippet of For Good from Wicked and then she closed the show with her single-version of Defying Gravity. I'm sure it will come as no surprise to anybody that knows me that I was crying through most of the show. I'm hoping she'll be coming back around this way again.

I saw your comment about Wicked on James Dashner's blog. I didn't finish the book, but the music sounds awesome.

Would you recommend the musical for a 13 year old?
